August 12, 2024 - August 16, 2024
The event is jointly organized by the Institute for the Mathematical Sciences of the Americas (IMSA) at the University of Miami, and the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS-Sofia) at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, with the financial support of the Simons Foundation.
Organizers:
- Oscar García-Prada (Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas— ICMAT, Madrid)
- Ernesto Lupercio (Cinvestav, Mexico)
- Tony Pantev (University of Pennsylvania)
- Ugo Bruzzo (SISSA, Trieste and Universidade Federal da Paraíba, João Pessoa, Brazil)
- Velichka Milousheva (IMI-BAS)
- Peter Dalakov (IMI-BAS and American University in Bulgaria)
In recent years several big advances enhance the field of complex geometry: Generalized geometries, Higgs and Langlands theory, Generalized Hodge theory, Hyperkaehler geometry. The goal of this conference is to consolidate and popularized new results in these directions. The event also seeks to provide an opportunity for young scholars from South-Eastern Europe to engage with cutting edge research in this area and to meet and interact with leading experts from around the world.
The conference will be held in Secrets Sunny Beach Resort & Spa Hotel.
